Marilyn Allen’s Bio

Program Planner, City of Oklahoma City

Marilyn is a Program Planner in the City’s Planning Department. Marilyn is managing the City’s updating of its development codes, including the Zoning and Planning Code and Subdivision Regulations. The Code Update is a multi-year process that includes multiple opportunities for community-wide feedback in the form of surveys, focus groups on specific topics, and workshops. The new code will ultimately be adopted by the City Council.

Marilyn has been in the Planning Department for 7 years. Before joining the Oklahoma City Planning Department, Marilyn worked in Austin, Texas.
